Two decades of leading private equity-owned manufacturers have made Andy Gale a specialist in transformation. The Executive Vice President of Manufacturing at LiveView Technologies (LVT) was typically brought in at the moment of acquisition to drive innovation and position companies for long-term value, and he has guided organizations through phases of major change while watching how cycles repeat when leaders neglect the fundamentals of hiring the right people and building resilient models.

Gale arrived in Utah almost by chance, mid-transition between leading a jet engine component manufacturer and an aerospace die casting company, and the move opened a new chapter. His career has been remarkably varied, encompassing service as a five-time Chief Executive Officer, a two-time Chief Financial Officer, a Chief Operating Officer and a five-time board member, a breadth that gives him an unusual command of how a business fits together from the factory floor to the boardroom.

He is not a traditional finance leader, yet he transformed LVT’s financial operations after joining, spending his early months refining systems and reworking years of prior statements, unafraid to roll up his sleeves and build the foundation he needed. He was drawn to the organization’s balanced approach to growth and profitability, a discipline consistent with his private equity experience, and he now applies more than 20 years of manufacturing leadership to optimizing the company’s hardware production.

His track record carries a long line of recognition. Earlier in his career a company he led was twice named among the best places to work in its state and twice honored as a vendor of the year by major national retailers. He served as President of an industry trade association, earned a place on a regional forty under forty list and was named to a young presidents organization for a decade, and more recently received an executive excellence award from a Utah business publication.

The Titan 100 honor affirms a leader whose diverse skill set repeatedly creates value wherever he is placed. Gale’s guiding philosophy is servant leadership, which he describes as a sincere effort to connect with people, articulate a vision that resonates and spend time in the trenches so teams know he cares, a posture that has defined his approach across every organization he has led.

He counts himself fortunate to have joined a mission-driven team building security solutions that make communities safer. Over the next five years Gale envisions LVT becoming the leading provider of rapidly deployable security technology, supported by major new product offerings on the horizon. In his manufacturing role he is focused on optimizing workflows to enable greater speed and efficiency while giving employees a safe and enjoyable environment, a priority that matters all the more because every member of the workforce holds an ownership stake in the company’s success.
